Bethany Birkholz

Bethany began her training at the age of 5 in Queensbury, NY. In 1999 she graduated from the Boston Conservatory with a BFA in Dance Performance where she danced and trained with artists from The Limon Company, Martha Graham Dance Company, The Paul Taylor Dance Company, Prometheus Dance Company, ACE Entertainment, Boston Ballet and Joffrey Ballet. After her undergrad degree she moved to Chicago and trained with the Gus Giordano Jazz Company and then joined Chicagoland Jazz troupe where she toured all over the country performing. She has been teaching, choreographing and directing for 23 years, she has taught ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary and tap for studios in Boston, Chicago, Mechanicville, Malta, and Glens Falls. Teaching Credits include North Carolina School of the Arts, NYSSA Modern intensive, NYSSA Ballet intensive, Joffrey Summer Jazz Intensive, Boston Conservatory Dance Program, Pennsylvania Ballet as well as several "Platinum" placing's in local and regional competitions. For choreography, Ms. Birkholz has choreographed "Beauty and the Beast" for Schuylerville's Community Theater, "70th Sensation" for Glens Falls Community Theater, "Where's Charlie Brown? "and "Good News" for the Lake George High School, "Secret Garden", "Evita" and "42nd Street" for Warrensburg High School as well as the 2006 YOUTHEATRE summer season and the "LARAC Fashion Show".

Ms. Birkholz is happily married with one son and one step daughter, living in Warrensburg, NY.
