Calling All Dancers!

We're into our second week of classes and this is looking like a positive and exciting dance year! New faculty members David Otto and Ginger Morris are fitting right in, and the Beginner Jazz class is enjoying Miss Emily, our teen dancer/instructor. We wanted to let you all know that it's not too late to sign up for additional classes. We're also looking for PARENTS, siblings and friends! Why not join the fun? Check out the following:

ADULTS - Country Heat Live! on Monday nights from 7:15 til 8:00 is an energizing and fun head to toe workout for any level-set to lively country rock music. No complicated routines to memorize, no high impact moves, yet a great workout! Come give it a try and you'll be stomping, clapping, (laughing,) and burning some major calories!

Adult Ballet is offered Wednesday nights from 7:30 til 8:30 with Robert, and Thursday nights from 7:00 til 8:00 with David Otto. Both instructors are former NYC Ballet soloists and give terrific classes. Have you always wished you had studied ballet, or studied as a child and now miss the grace and discipline? It's time to do something for yourself. All levels welcome!

Adult Tap classes run Thursday nights from 7:30 til 8:30 with Miss Kim. What can we say - how about a variety of great music from several decades and lots of laughter as you tap tap your troubles away (at least for an hour a week!) Classes incorporate classic tap technique and fun rhythms in both center and traveling combinations.

PRESCHOOL classes with Miss Ginger - Creative Movement meets Mondays from 3:45 til 4:30. The program creatively engages 3 and 4 year old children in movement and activities developmentally appropriate for their age. Classes build coordination, balance and strength, combined with social skills, direction, and music appreciation

Tappy Toes meets Wednesdays from 3:15 til 4:00. Also for 3 and 4 year old children, the program introduces mini dancers to counting with music and exploring fun rhythms with their feet and hands. Both Tappy Toes and Creative Movement perform with us in May on stage at the Charles Wood Theater! Adorable....

Pre-ballet class and Ballet A both have some openings on Wednesdays. Pre-ballet is for 5 and 6 year old children and runs 4:30 til 5:30. Ballet A is a beginner class for children aged 7-10 and runs 5:30 til 6:30. Both classes are being instructed by our very talented and experienced Miss Ginger! These are the formative years to develop a love for ballet, and being taught correctly from the start is key to success!

Please call the studio at 793-9201 with any questions regarding these or any other classes (or shoot us an email.)Trial classes available. Referrals of new students mean discounts for your second trimester tuition! Spread the word and enjoy sharing the art of dance (and the savings!)

Thank you for choosing the Glens Falls Ballet and Dance Center. We appreciate your business and truly care about all of our dance families!
