Dates and Reminders:
As the annual spring dance performance nears, we realize this is a busy season. Please take a moment to note the following dates and reminders:
*Third Trimester tuition and costume balances were due March 14. Please remit your full payment this week and avoid late fees. Only those who have prearranged a payment plan with us will avoid these fees. Please call us at the studio if you have any balance questions. Thank you!!
*Reminder of Happy Ads - place an ad in the performance program booklet and congratulate your favorite dancer, or advertise your business or a friend's. The dancers love to see their names, and save the booklet as a keepsake. Plus, businesses who advertise receive exposure to the mostly local audience of several hundred. Quarter page ads are $25, half page ads are $50 and full pages are $75. SPECIAL DISCOUNT: deduct 5% off your Happy Ad if paid in full by April 15! See us to create your ad today!
*Fundraisers for spring have been sent home in large, white envelopes. Please take a look at the enclosed brochure and accompanying letter. Show it to coworkers and relatives. Order forms are due back with payments the week of APRIL 4 (anytime that week.) Checks should be made to:Glens Falls Dance Company. Any and every bit helps, as proceeds help to offset the many costs associated with the rental of the Charles Wood Theater, lighting, sound, and so much more. Thank you in advance for your participation. Prizes are awarded by the fundraising company and the top seller receives a trophy from our studio in May!
*Be looking for volunteer sheets posted at the front desk in the studio within the next couple of weeks. These volunteer positions are varied, so everyone's talents are needed. Positions include refreshment committee, raffle committee, ballerina boutique, dressing room attendants, clean up crew, and much more!
Dear Parents and Students,
Notice to those in Robert's "Wild and Innocent" performance number: The rehearsals for the piece are taking place on Wednesdays from 4:30 til 6:00. They are followed by mandatory ballet class from 6:00 til 7:30. Please understand that regular attendance in classes is vital to develop strength and endurance to execute the choreography. Attending Wednesday rehearsals is not a substitution for regular class. They go hand in hand, and this is not a new policy. We felt the need to send this reminder, however, as some students have been leaving after rehearsal at 6:00. We're already into March and the concerts are in May, so that leaves only 7 or 8 of these Wednesdays left. Thank you for your cooperation! We're looking forward to a very special anniversary performance featuring all of YOU!!
Second trimester tuition is due MARCH 14. If your child doesn't have classes that Monday, you may either bring in payment with your child on her/his class day that week, or phone a credit card payment in at 793-9201during business hours. The costume balances are also due. There is a sheet posted in the studio with fees for each class. A copy of the price list will be mailed to all (plus, a quick phone call to us and we'll let you know your balance.) If you've paid the costume deposit (from registration time,) deduct that from the fees listed. For example, if your child's class costume is listed as $45 and you paid the costume deposit back in September, your balance will be just $10. Don't hesitate to ask for your individual balances. We're just a phone call or email away. Avoid late fees - we accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover!
Be looking for more regular emails from us as we surge ahead towards the dance concert.
Thank you! We truly appreciate the opportunity to educate your children in the art of dance!
All Dancers Welcome!
